Jonathan B. Horwitz, Ed.D.,
Principal and Founder
Jon is an organizational psychologist who, since 1980, has been helping businesses solve their organizational issues by leading them to improve the skills, relationships, and performance of their people in harmony with the goals of the company. He is proficient in assessing and facilitating organizational relationships and transformations, which results in improved efficiency, inspired innovation, and success. These results can be witnessed not only in workplace interactions but also in business growth and the bottom line.
Jon is a graduate of Columbia University, where he earned an Ed.D. Degree in Management and Leadership Development. He earned an M.A. from Southern Illinois University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. His research focused on the implementation of technology in organizational settings, as well as the selection and development of sales managers. He has been on the faculty at the New York University School of Business, The New School, and Marymount Manhattan College. He taught courses in the areas of staff development and training and organizational behavior and leadership.
Jon enjoys skiing, tennis, and traveling with his family. Some of his recent favorite vacation spots include the top of Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain, Edinburgh, Scotland for the Fringe Festival, and the right-field bleachers at Wrigley Field. His taste in music ranges from jazz and funk to Motown. He is a fan of the New York Mets and Knicks and UCONN Basketball women and men.
